Consultancy with UNPOL

A colleague from Spain and Laura worked with UN Police to research the current state and develop strategies to recruit and retain more women police in both headquarters and in missions. 

Kosovo Police Service

March 2020  Laura went to Kosovo for International Association of Women Police board meetings, which were held in conjunction with Kosovo Police Training Conference.  Laura facilitated a discussion there on victim engagement.  

Ecuador National Police

In March 2019, Laura went to Quito, Ecuador for  International Association of Women Police board meetings.  This meetings were held in conjunction with the Ecuador Police Department's first regional conference for women police officers.  Laura spoke to the group on gender violence and how police can  more effectively prevent and respond to gender violence.
